Kasino – Stay Tonight

Kasino is a eurodance group from Brazil. Conceived to be only a studio project, Kasino gained sudden inclusion of the first single Can’t Get Over in a scene of América, a Brazilian telenovela. Quickly the music became a phenomenon in Brazil. In one month of existence, the group gained communities in the Google’s Orkut and fanclubs. In 2005, the DJ Sound magazine delivered the prize of “The Dance Single of the Year” to the group.

Banda Black Rio – Carrossel

Banda Black Rio is a Brazilian musical group from Rio de Janeiro that was formed in 1976. It has a repertoire based on funk but also including samba, jazz and Brazilian rhythms. The band has recorded four albums: Maria Fumaca, Gafieira Universal, Saci Perere and Movimento. Compared to other foreign soul-funk groups, Banda Black Rio developed a kind of instrumental soul music that was gladly accepted in other countries.

Br’Oz – Prometida

Br’oZ is a short-lived Brazilian vocal group and boy band, formed in the second season of the reality show Popstars, broadcast by SBT in 2003. They released two albums during their career as a band, and spawned two huge hits in Brazil, Prometida (2003) and Vem Pra Minha Vida (2004).

14 Bis – Planeta Sonho

14 Bis is a Brazilian pop-rock band. The band took its name from Santos-Dumont‘s 14 Bis airplane. 14 Bis was formed back in 1971, and mentions The Beatles as their major musical influence. The group reached the peak of their success during the eighties with notable compositions and performance of popular Brazilian songs. Due to the mild, often happy and soothing theme of many of its compositions, the band was quite popular among children.
